Ingredients

  • 500 grams assorted mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon crushed black pepper / black pepper powder
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg, ground
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • Juice of half a lime

  • Roughly slice 500 grams assorted mushrooms
  • In a very hot pan on very high heat add 1 tablespoon cooking oil. Add in the mushrooms with salt to taste, ½ a teaspoon ground nutmeg and 1 teaspoon crushed black pepper / black pepper powder. Stir so the mushrooms mix with the salt and pepper then leave them in the pan for a minute without stirring it - this will help slightly brown the mushrooms.

  • Turn off the heat, add 2 tablespoons chopped parsley and the juice of half a lime and serve.
